Loving the JZS147s. They've aged very well.

I agree. In fact a while back I had a bloke go out of his way to compliment me on my JZS147 at the local car wash. I said his car (a Maserati) wasn't too bad either!

Hello folks

Been many years since I checked in on the Lexus Club, and very happy to see a few Aristos lurking!  I was enjoying looking through this post when I found a pic of my Aristo - Black with the 19" Advan Sienna II's.  Well, its still alive I'm happy to say, although currently undergoing some significant repair work. I'm hoping to have it back on the road in the summer...

Now I know there is still some limited Aristo related activity here I'll check in more often!

Take care all

Tony

I still have my V300 after 21 years. It's been off the road for 2 years. Since the other Aristo website died I've found it very difficult to find people with good knowledge of the cars, part numbers for things that need replacing and how to attack some of the jobs I have to do. I'm finding many of the jobs on this car are only easier if you have the tools and the experience of doing them. Would love to connect with other owners on here with these to figure out how to get jobs done and it back on the road.

Sadly there aren't many around. What jobs need doing? GS Series II owners can help for anything non-engine/transmission related and for those you are best to find some Supra TT owners.

All my main jobs are engine related really now. I guess I really should get the engine out for ease but it seems a big job compared to old classic cars which were a breeze in comparison.
Some of the parts differ from the Supra as I've been looking for replacement parts and part numbers and being a VVTI lump it's only the later model owners who may possibly answer some queries.

Ideally I'd love an expert on these engines to be able to come and help or do the work or find someone local but given a lot of my issues now are fixing up issues or bodges done by local garages that had no experience of the engine, I'm thinking I've either got to figure it out myself or put it on a recovery truck and take it somewhere which would add a whole lot more cost. It's a good car but really in need of a bit of care.

1992 Toyota Aristo TT non vvti JZS147 for sale I have had her for about two years just been a nightmare taking her for work in "specialist" shops. Had many parts taken as we imported the beast so alot of sought after parts were replaced with cheaper ones. She still runs and drives after putting well over 6K i think it is time I send her to one of you boys. I am willing to let her go for a very fair price considering engine alone is worth over 5K these days. I am not asking 5K by the way. This would be an opportunity for one of you. 2062084048 talk to me.

Hi, sorry no idea of your name or other details.

Could I please ask that you read and follow the correct format for listing cars for sale on the LOC or your post may be removed.

Hey All, new to the forum.  I have a 1993 Aristo with the 2JZ-GTE engine. It’s still stock for now. I was looking to replace a lot of the radiator hoses, and can’t get them anywhere.  I’ve tried Toyota, and numerous JDM companies. Apparently no one is making them anymore. Does anyone know of an alternate part number from Toyota  that will fit? MK4 Supra etc ….

upper 16571-46090

lower 16572-46090

Thanks in advance, John

Hi John and welcome to the LOC.

As you have already discovered parts for the early models are now mostly obsolete and any remaining stock of rubber hoses will be well past their useful life.

It may be worth trying to get them custom made, although most are in the USA I did find the UK based company below ( I have no interest or affiliation with it and there may be others).
