Falken tyres seem to be well regarded on this forum. Can I ask which Falken tyre is recommended? The Falken Ziex ZE914 Ecorun has a poor review, the testers believe they have focused on eco issue rather than ability in the wet etc. This  is the only tyre listed by Blackcircles that has the correct speed rating and is not designed for SUVs. I'm fitting 235/55/17s and would appreciate some advice

I'm aware that Falken have stopped making the standard Ls400 size 225/60/16 which I personally found to be a " good " all round tyre and over many years and many 10's of '000 of miles

I used Falken until they stopped making them.

So now use Nexen NBlue, seem as quite, as grippy in normal driving and a bit harder wearing.

For tear-arsing around corners not quite as good as Falkens in the wet

I was surprised with the performance of the LS.

ive stuck with Continentals. They work but have to be in good condition.

You know I own a Jag by now...**** if you don’t have Pirelli’s they’re a handful,

If you’re a snail go economy. If you drive sensibly but do more miles then pay...but shop around. Lexus say they compete with others...check them out.

I don’t work for Lexus...looking to keep the boat afloat. 😀

Amazing the levels of grip available in the old things.

I have Kumho Ecstas on which from previous experience are hard wearing but not the quietest. Good wet weather grip.
