Before I go crawling on the cold wet floor.........are the tips easily removable?

I'd like to give them a proper polish and protect.

My tips were filthy when I purchased the car, I used autosol metal polish with a microfiber cloth, took 10 mins to do,  tips looked factory fresh when I finished.  Finished them off with a coating of HD wax for good measure (that was much harder to apply then the autosol!).

There are a few videos on YouTube demonstrating autosol use if you search for "cleaning stainless steel exhaust".

Can pick up a tube of autosol from wilko's for £3.50 (think it's closer to £7 for the same tube at Halfords)

Thumbs up for AutoSol - it’s really good stuff.

Not sure about waxing afterwards - surely it’d just burn off?

Dunno how hot the tips actually get, I've got a thermographic camera at work so could check after a blast!

I have autosol and another less harsh polish. I was thinking of removing to bring inside as planned to use the wheel Armour which needs to cure inside. That can take up to 300 degrees heat.
