I suppose because it’s lhd - if someone is specifically looking for one then this will save them the hassle of importing one etc etc

the front looks to be sitting a little low - no sat nav and the wheels are not online with the UK spec wheels

The seller is getting mixed up with what the market will pay and his estimation.the LHD makes it useless in this country. the LHD in Europe is common to Lexus supplied and other examples will be available with less mileage but the mercs will be plentiful and more for the money in Spain.

My car is the same mark with 36k miles better condition and the correct wheels( important when a car is quoted as original) but I doubt should I ever dream of selling it I would get 7K.

it's certainly " special "  at that price with grubby carpets .............  and that makes it " concours "  ....  I really don't think so

but no Ls400 is " collectable " and methinks it might be another decade or so , if ever, it does become so !

" concours " is a bit irrelevant with our cars ....  now, if it was an old Bentley and concours ...........  and forever breaking down and on every outing thinking it might need a transporter recovery ................  then that sure is " collectable  "

Let's not get ahead of ourselves guys :yahoo:

am I missing some thing

I think your missing the fact the person is trying 'sell' it so they are using 'sales patter'...........do you think he would be better just saying ""16 year old V8 gas guzzler, comfortable car""....???

LHD used to be non wanted low value...but if you want a Lexus registered in that country then it’s a start. Bonkers money. Might be interesting if a late Mk4 but only well under 100k miles.
