I was just checking the prices of oils (thinking I might bag a bargain for the next service)

The first screenshot is from 27th October and the second one if of today:

I think I was better of buying in October!

I just use ASDA 5W-30- it don't vary at all, generally theres no such thing on the market as 'bad oil'

If that is Euro car Parts, it doesn’t surprise me.  Make sure to check carparts4less too, sometime cheaper although they have the same parent company.

I got mine a few weeks ago with their "Halloween" weekend offer at the lower price, a bit naughty on the part of ECP and certainly misleading on the RRP.

Yes my bargain for Shell Helix for 5ltrs plus one was £21 but I’m in at £29 this year. Still ok. But the Jag is on TripleQ which is ok to be fair and cheap as chips...genuine filters only though.

ECP always do that. 

I tend to go for Millers Oil though.

But to be honest - in the UK you'd be hard pressed to find bad oil as such from anywhere unless its been stolen off the back of a truck.

Yes I agree, pretty good stuff and a lot is rebadged and comes from top sources.

Who would have thought that a Lexus dealer uses Shell Helix but you wouldn’t know🙃

New price alert, the price has gone up again and now the discount has reduced to 7%, I always thought there were consumer laws that meant a product had to be on sale at a particular price for a certain period of time before they could claim a "was" price and  "now" price, this place operates like the Footsie top 100 share prices.
