Been a long day and finally im back in a ISF. So as a few of you know which car it was.. so thanks for the tips. I can confirm all the service records have been confirmed by the specialist who said they only ever worked on one ISF and it was Mr so and so's (they actually said they had alot of inquiries about the service record lol). There are some very minor cosmetic to sort (me being anal) but otherwise the car is great, interior is near spotless and exterior is clean and tidy.. i really cant complain with what i paid (and it was not the asking price.. ;)

The owners were open to the things i pointed out and we agreed a price after the usual hussle lol.. both father and son where great help.

I actaully liked the silver once i saw it, not my first choice but its grown on me. It drives and pull fantasic (missed that F scream). My brother and i felt it was quicker then my last one for some reason.

Good to be back in one.

SILVER ones are the fastest. I can confirm that they are faster than -

Blue ones ( @Mark G)

White ones ( @Warrington guy)

Black ones ( @Rusty Crobar)

and Gray one’s ( @emjay82)

Scientific fact - ask @Big Rat

Arguably as fast as GSFs ( @Mark G)

Welcome back!!

Wonder how red ones get on, might find out one day if I come down!!

I don’t think you’d be able to breath the  thin air this far South 😀 You’d get a nose bleed 😜

@Jgtcracer We had a very nice Red one a few meets back, Paul had a fair old drive to get to us as well.

This one turned up at the LC launch some months ago as well.

Great to see you back in a isf . What ever the colour they look great..welcome back 👍

Totally agree. When you get chance to follow another ISF, they do look good no matter what colour. Some are however ASBO candidates @Rusty Crobar

I really need to make a trip out of a meet at some point.  It's hard work with 2 kids under 6 and a rather unsympathetic wife!

I must try harder!!!!

@Jgtcracer Respect to you Marcus family man and maintaining your hobby, it’s easy for us on here at times who don’t have family namely me and not realise what a juggling act it must be.

Still be great if we could meet up some time.👍

Glad to see you got another one. One day I may actually still see my first one.

How do you find the silver compared to the white?

I was in meetings by there yesterday.

Update: had the car for 2 weeks now and i have ordered the parts from Lexus:

Oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter and sump washer.. all for £108. I was not willing to pay £595 for a 100k service which mainly consists of a majority MOT check and coolant change.. i rather do all these with satisfaction its done properly.

At the same time i managed to get the GS300h parts for £110 too... again same story of £595 for a 100k service.

Gona get my hands dirty on Sat.. cant wait.

I dont know if i mentioned this before but im sure my car feels quicker then my last but more louder (just right). So i decided to have the car checked out by Lexus (free visual safety check).

First thing is yhat all was good.. no red warning, a few ambers on tyres and discs (for me its green for now). I was sent a video of the check and discovered the exhaust resonator has been deleted.. no wonder it sounds louder then my last stock ISF, it sounds great. It was somrthing i was going to do anyway.. so saved me a bit there. I'll see if i can get a video up soon.
