Hi folks, I just purchased an sc430 2001,  when i get in and start the engine i get two loud beeps  seems to be coming from the passenger door speakers , any ideas ?

That's a new one on me. Is there an aftermarket blue-tooth device fitted for mobile connectivity?

Does it beep if you just switch the key to aux or ignition without starting the car?

there was a Bluetooth phone connected , and I made the garage take out the awful metal bracket,   that could be it,  thanks. i will test it later

It does bleep when both the ignition is on   and aux

It could well be the blue-tooth phone module.

Do you have any instructions for it or know the make /model number? If you switch blue-tooth on on your mobile can it see the car blue-tooth signal to pair with it?

You may need to take the centre console out and inspect for any extra wiring left in place and see if it can be removed .

sounds a big job but it’s not ....lift centre glove box lid get fingers under the heated seat control lift out and unplug, then get fingers under the end of the center console and lift up, have a look for and wiring that doesn’t look original .

somewhere there is a parrot  Bluetooth that i can connect to , but there is no mic. and no sound from the speakers when i make a call , I guess some of it has been removed but not all of it.

Check for an extra speaker, sometimes they fit one instead of splicing into the factory speakers. The Parrot module could be in the centre console or behind the dash, perhaps under the glove box or drivers side near the steering column.
