Mystery AC settings

Hi all,

I've been playing with my settings and can't for the life of me work out what these do! Please see pic. Any ideas?

Are they not the seat setting? Front left front right appear hot or cold, so it's a temp, whilst rears are heated only, so pitched as heater only?

Pure guess as eat newer than mine and I've never seen it in flesh, but makes sense to me, given the text.

I guess it's something like that but I can't notice any difference with the settings!

As they are auto, would it not dictate when the heat/cool, ie, like climate control, if it's warm enough there no heat, but if not too hot, there no cool either type thing? Thus normal temp means can't tell, but if it were freezing, you'd then detect the heat?

That kind of makes sense and the adjustment could be sensitivity. Roll on a nice cold winter so I can test that theory!

I believe it just sets how hot the seats will go in Auto mode (and possibly also how cool they get in ventilation mode, although the manual is unclear on this) i.e. the extremes of temperature range that Auto mode will use.

The default is 3, which I found to be more than enough last winter - it was definitely enough to feel a borderline-uncomfortable burn on a cold day. You've cranked yours up to a trouser-igniting 5. Brave man!

I've been switching between low and high to see if I can notice any difference yet to no avail!
