Is it easy to sell these circa £200-£400 plates onwards, does anyone know?  Or is it a case of just writing off the money and leaving on the car once it's sold?

it's easy to sell with advertising and transfer fees BUT not usually viable economically  ....  often best just to leave with the car ........  unless you want to transfer it to your new car of course

Very observant, - thankyou.  Not for a few months, I'll certainly check that out
