Ls430 touch screen

Hi. Noticed the sat nav screen flickering this morning. It stopped after a few mins and worked ok. Drove and when i restarted the screen was blank. When you turn on ign the lexus symbol shows for a second then screen goes blank. 

If u press the climate or audio button and guess where to press the screen it works fine. 

Any ideas would be welcome.

The problem you have is with the "back light". This is a cold cathode fluorescent tube. It can be replaced, but requires careful dismantling of the screen. It is probably easier to replace the complete unit with a second hand unit for most people.

Thanks John for pointing me in the right direction. I would be confident enough to tackle this job. Any ideas on where you could get the bulb.
