Funny thing is they don't object or refuse to service my car every year?! Far from it. Love the folks at Lexus Canterbury.

Just suddenly dawned on me they are fine with servicing a modified car, just not honouring their warranties! :whistling:

Hope none of you are using non-Lexus cleaning products?!?! :w00t:

Whatever Lexus use its not good, picked my car up this morning and I think they cleaned it with a brillo pad 😡. Swirl city. More polishing for me this weekend!

@Big Rat, If the price is interesting and if it is possible to send me the USRS in France, I'm interested.

@etienne1201 Etienne I shall put you on the list and with @Peter P18 look at the costings of getting your set to you, the car is looking great 👍

Where's about in France are you so we have an advanced idea of the cost.

@etienne1201 Lovely part of the world, plenty of open roads to spank the isF, with a weather eye on the Gendarmes hiding !

Ive contacted @Peter P18 with list now and will let all know in due course.

Just to wade in on this one between all the in-humour and other banter :winkiss:

I had the USRS put on my car last year, at the time my local Lexus dealer (Twickenham) said they cannot fit a non-standard part to my car (I had it done by a shop Peter uses in Sussex that did a good job), but nothing was said about the warranty.  I think as posts at the time said, the difference isn't night and day in terms of handling, but it is noticeable.  I can't comment on the tyre wear as I have only done about 4K in mine since having the job done, but having the tracking etc. done straight after am hoping for the best...

Morning Chaps.

So heard back from Simon at RR-Racing. He can do these at $300 a set, which is a 13% discount on the normal price. Basically $50 off each set.

I'd need to add postage and packaging costs to send this out to each of you once I bring them back from the States as well.

Let me know if you're all still interested, and we can get things moving.

Cheers for now.

Pete

Morning Chaps,

So I'm guessing no more than £20 for UK P&P? If it was, won't be much more surely?!

Payment is the trickier part. Obviously I'm not looking to eat any costs on these, so getting the ROE locked in is quite important. I'd need to get everyone's money banked and have Simon take the card payment all on the same day....

Can't see why that would be a major problem, but it's the only hurdle with the pound being so rubbish lately! :wallbash:

I'm heading out again tomorrow morning to San Diego, but can't get them organised that short notice. Shouldn't be that long before I head out again, although suggest we order beforehand, and I'll collect them from one of my buddies houses.... just easier than hoping they arrive before I head home.

Anyway, let me know guys and we'll set this up.

Cheers.

Yep, as Rusty says, just let us know. Could be handy to be able to pay via paypal?

Thanks Chaps.

David, my Wife uses PayPal I think, but would be a lot easier to get everyone to transfer the cash into my bank account, that way I can simply give Simon my card details (pretty sure he knows them already! Lol), and we're in business.

I'd probably do a flat £20 on top for shipping costs? That way it covers any additional packaging/courier costs I need to pay for you guys.

My trip to San Diego was cancelled late on Friday due to the Hurricanes, so might be able to get this ordered this week if we can get on the same page......

Just need to hear from the others first.

Cheers.

Pete, happy to run the cash round or transfer. No problems picking them up when you have them. Tell me how much and when and I'll sort it.

thanks again, matt

@Peter P18 please send me your bank details and I'll proceed to the bank transfer.

Tell me exactly how much I have to send you knowing that I live in France (Nantes, 44300)

Hi all,

New to the site and the forum and only three months into ownership of a 2009 ISF. Loving it so far but am keen to maintain front tread as the only advisory on previous MOTs for my car was front inner tyre wear.

Was just about to order the RR bushes direct so if the group deal saves a few pennies I'm in.

Spoke with Lexus about getting a warranty on mine but as others have suggested the addition of absolutely any non OEM part (other than tyres, oil, fluids etc) invalidates the whole warranty. My local dealer had me on a conference call with the warranty team and they confirmed they could no longer warranty my car as it already has a HPS intake and K&N panel filter. Now have a Hayward & Scott cat back  so they said absolutely no chance.

Let me know how we sort out ordering the bushes.

Hopefully see some of you in November!

Dan.

Welcome Dan.

Right, may be easier to get you folks to ring/contact Simon directly to get these paid for? I can then arrange collection, and bring them back to the UK. I'd then get them individually wrapped, and take them to my local Post Office for recorded delivery to each of you.

I won't know costs until I get there, so will pay them for you guys, and send you the tracking numbers and costs afterwards.

I'm hoping to bite the bullet and order my supercharger kit shortly, may have Simon hide these in the boxes, easier that way.

If not, I'll check when my friends from New Jersey are over next. Maybe they'd be kind enough to 'mule' them over! :wink3:

If I ask Simon for a discount code, you just enter that on the website. Delivery details can be along the lines of 'Peter Payne will collect'.

Let me know guys.

Cheers.

Sounds fine to me.

In summary:
Pay RR Racing direct, using discount code (yet to be negotiated) by yourself. With reference to your collection.
Pay you for local UK postage once shipped.

Big Rat spotted i was down to the chords on my inner front tyre over the weekend. Despite having around 4-5mm tread everywhere else. I defiantly need a set of these to stop that happening again!

You got it David.

That way for anyone who doesn't know me, you have some comeback on the purchase etc. Can see how putting money into a strangers bank account could be a worry, so this way you are still buying from RR-Racing, and have that peace of mind etc.

I'll ask Simon today for a code to be setup, confirm there is an option to say it will be collected (versus postal info), and agree a promotional period for the code to run (say 4 weeks for example).

These really do work. Not had any issues whatsoever with uneven tyre wear on mine since I added the USRS. I personally don't find the ride any harsher, nor do I hear any extra noise from having them.

Will be along later with the promo code etc.

Cheers.
