Newbie...

Hi all, just joining the forum as I am tomorrow purchasing my first ever Lexus, an IS220D SE-L.

 

Currently own a Saab 9-3 TID and have been a loyal Saab owner for years other than a brief and remarkably terrible sojourn into owning a Jaguar X-Type. Looking forward to using the forums regularly and hope that Lexus can replace Saab in my affections!

Sounds like you have good intentions of completing maintenance, modification and just general enthusiast type jobs on the Lexus now seems like the ideal time to start a thread on the Brand New build thread section to share you ideals and photos and hopefully get a few ideas and tips along the way.

I am confident you'll grow to love Lexus even more than Saab they are fantastic cars

Saab's owners often get attached to their cars. I'm sure the Lexus will be a good step up.

Do you intend to do lots of highway miles in the derv?

Welcome Brian.  I had four Saabs before coming to Lexus.  On my third Lexus now.
