Hi

My name is Benny, I have been in to Toyota for a long time and own many Toyota cars, but now I have sort of bought my firts Lexus, an IS200 that´s been in a small crash.

Sort of bought it because I have agreed to the deal but the deal have not been done yet.

I know there´s not much money in an IS200, but the car was cheap, parts is cheap to find used and i really enjoy fixing up cars, so my goal is not to make money, it´s more about enjoying my time fixing cars that is my interest. In the end i guess it would cost the same as buying a non crashed, but where´s the fun in that ?

Hi Benny, welcome to the forum.

Looking forward to seeing what deal you strike for the damaged vehicle and seeing pic's :wink3:

A 'small crash' doesn't suggest Cat C/D does it? - as that will affect the resale value.

Good luck.

Thanks, the deal is not so great since it's such low value vehicle. But i like fixing cars. The damage is one front fender, two doors and two trailing arms in the rear. About £200 in parts att scrap yard

Hello and Welcome to the forum!

If you have any intentions of completing any maintenance, modification or just general enthusiast type jobs on the Lexus now seems like the ideal time to start a thread on the Brand New build thread section to share you ideals and photos and hopefully get a few ideas and tips along the way.
