RX450H Seat Cooling

Can anyone tell me how the seat in the RX450H is cooled. I know where the switch is, but I need to know if my seat cooler is working.

Does it just turn on a fan that blows air through the seat back and squab, or is it connected somehow to the air conditioning system.

I have looked under the seat and can see electrical cables gong to the seat, but not pipes. If it is a fan only system, should it be audible when on?

They're not cooled as such, they're ventilated.

Therefore, they should have a fan in the base and the back. They're quiet though so you may need to hold your breath in a silent car. They won't cool the seat down drastically and through jeans you probably won't feel it. I can only feel it on the wifes car when its on Max and Im wearing shorts

If you switch them on to max, you should feel the air flow on the back of your hand. The airflow should also be sufficient to move a piece of tissue paper.
