Malcolm---- The sign is by the side of the car wash, Stuart----The 2nd set of wires are for the smaller indicator The large one indicates to the front, the smaller one indicates at a slight angle to the left -so that when you come to a junction, other traffic can see you turning.

On my 93 Car the original orange  indicators only had one bulb holder in the front portion, the side portion being blanked.

When  I replaced with Clears I could only fit to the front and they still seem visible at the side, perhaps not to the degree that they could be.  Not failed an MOT because of only one bulb, each side.

This is the final answer from MorrisonsScan.thumb.jpg.97b35eebc221e8f9f653dc071027a891.jpg

The last sentence is there to put everyone from trying to claim. It has no standing in legal terms where a charge is made for a service (ie) you pay for a car wash. You do not pay to risk your car getting damaged.

If the sign is specific such as "no roof racks" and you drive through with a roof rack on the car the responsibility lies with you possibly even for damage to the wash. Morrisons cannot remove there obligations with a sign basically saying if anything goes wrong hard luck.
