That is no different to any other work Lexus does on your car though... In some ways I would rather Lexus be responsible for it than a third party.

Autoglass offer a lifetime guarantee for all their work as long as you own the vehicle. This is much more than any dealer!! Glass companies fit thousands and thousands more windscreens than any franchised dealer.

 

Glass quality is generally good but always insist on OEM quality which does not necessarily mean it will have car manufacturer stamp.

I doubt many, if any, franchised dealers actually fit windscreens themselves. They would call in their prefered specialist company, e.g. AutoGlass 

Going through Lexus, letting them organise the fitting, at least gives one the added comfort knowing that they would sort any non glass related/secondary issues
