Looking at the TTE web site they sell bolt goodies for varrious Toyota and Lexus cars,

AMG on the other take a production vehicle, strip it, rebuild it with all sorts of nice things and then watch then go like a rocket,

Thanks for the info whitebean. I love my Lexus to bits, but I feared in the future, i might have to go to Merc for a AMG or Brabus or get my own 'toppatop' Lex built.

However I think too many models and variations is trying to making it more mainstream, currently I see Lexus a top alternative to the boring and common bimmas and benz.. looks like Lexus might go down that route :o Anyways I've still got a few years to go till I qualify as an accountant, then hopefully a real performace Lex will be available. Its a shame that the aristo v300 werent originally a lex!!

Thats intresting that is the opposite to what i was told at TTE.

i will dig deaper into this one when at TTE in a few weeks

There was/is a big reorganization at TRD USA was recently.

I think they do not know what the actual market wants.

Btw US people are never good at doing the finetuning of the chassis or engine, so .... ?

And do you have any info 'L-Tuned'?

Mat I remember you mention that lexus werent going to do any performace cars, but concenrate more on the luxury side, but i knew they would have to give into AMG, M, Brabus,S, GTA etc
