As a slight diversion but still on topic, I am trying honestly, does anyone have a one of there own a sort of mini me I suppose.

Ive looked at various on line sites that retail these but as always it's quite difficult to see how much of an accurate representation you are getting and not some piece of expensive rubbish.

Here's a couple of pics of some, anyone got a really good sample ?

@Arqum Does it have any manufacturer information- other than maybe Toyota/ Lexus ?

I will have to check. It's fully boxed with all the paper work etc.

@Arqum Thanks  👍

Shame AUTOart didn't make one. Their 1:18 diecast models are fab and a lot more detailed than the one pictured above.

@J Henderson Yes on closer examination they don't look that good, which is why I'm asking for 'F' massive expert experience 😂

Info from Lexus Enthusiast website:

The second generation IS can be found in the catalogues of Auto Art (1:18), Bburago (1:24), and was also available as a radio-controlled car from the Japanese Masudaya. At the top of the bill is the IS-F was offered as an affordable J-Collection die-cast version (available in silver or blue metallic) and the more expensive, higher quality model from HPI-racing. There is also a black IS-F available through the Lexus dealers and a racing version (without race numbers and/or decoration) in Japan. Kyosho produced a very limited 1:43 scale edition of the black “Nürburgring Test Car”.

The Lexus boxed ones were made by HPI Racing and were discontinued a while back as I got in touch with them.  Hence all the ones on eBay that are left being £150+.  They are the best quality ones out there though.

the J Collection ones look ok and at £11 worth th gamble. I have put one in my birthday list so will let you know what it's like if someone buys me one! :)  other JCollection models J have seen in the flesh have been good quality.

i am am desperate for a white one, even though I no longer own the car.  Shame no one made a 1:18 scale, they are all 1:43.  The only white HPI one J can find on eBay is £250!
