Hes put it up for sale again. 1 previous owner now means 2 previous to include him. I wouldn't mind betting this has been in a front end shunt. As for the fail on the MOT for having a split pin missing from a steering linkage. thank god it was found before it fell off on the motorway. Despite him saying hes not a dealer he seems to sell an awful lot of cars.

Thanks for your input buddy. I sent him a couple of questions earlier and would concur with you view that something doesn't add up. I asked him for the number of his solicitor friend who he's selling the car on behalf of........ as a car enthusiast of course. He has declined..... and I thought he might. 😜

Theres also a worrying years gap in mot history and front tyres which had worn out after 15k miles. Very odd.
