Just wondering...

Is it possible to 'program' an RX300 such that when unlocking via the key fob, the side/dipped lights come on ?

It would be so useful in the dark.

I've often thought it was an oversight on my 400h that the headlights can't be left on for follow me home when parking.. then go off .. if you find a way to do it, let me know.. do the new ones have it ?

I think Piers is talking about a different issue.

To my knowledge neither are programmable options.

It is the same set up with the pre-facelift (2009-2012) RX450h (not sure about the post 2012 models), although the RX450h has reasonably brigth puddle lights built into the mirrors.
