Airbag takata recall problem

I would like to ask did you have problems with airbag recall ? I am waiting about 7 months, and still nothing. I sent couple of mails, i called to toyota, lexus and they don't want to replace my takata airbag. I live in Onionland what about your country ?

There is no problem with recall for lexus CT.

Yes, notifications were sent months back. I had a letter last September. When they actually get around to doing it is anyone's guess.

Have not heard of anyone on the UK Lexus forum having it done yet.

I got my letter last July still havnt heard anything yet.

I did speak to lexus several weeks ago regarding the airbag recall but they couldn't give me a definite date but estimated late March early April before work would commence.

I know this is cold comfort...... but worth remembering that this is a global recall across nearly all the major manufacturers..... literally hundreds of thousands of vehicles involved / to be checked / changed.

Not just a Lexus problem.

I replaced airbags in my old two bmw e46 3 times without any problems. Safety is very important for me.
