Hi,

strange popping/ticking may be burbling sound come out of the engine area just after park RX400H and turn off hybrid engine. It lasts few seconds anyway. Seems like exhaust system is  cooling down I guess.

Is it normal for hybrid car? (RX400H 2006)

regards

Ticking/popping could be heat shields cooling down.

Burbling...could that be the coolant?

The sound that would come after ~30 seconds and is normal. Someone said it is gas lines being purged. In the past I had presumed it was maybe some sort of immobilizer or hybrid system-specific mechanism locking down itself.

It's normal for a hybrid, as rayaans said. No need for concern.
