Is200 Import Spec

I am looking to purchase an IS200, and have found one at a good price. It is a european import from Belgium. I want to know if this will be full UK spec, for insurance purposes. DOes anyone know ?

Don't have the answer staright off but have you logged on to a european official Lexus site and the Lexus GB site to compare specs for the model your interested in.

OR

Look at the IS200 section on here and look to the 'Pinned' posts for the 'IS200 specification' and go to the Euro Lexus forum and same section and their 'Pinned' 'IS200 specification' although this is not in English I suggest you post on their forum and ask if someone has an english language version.

UK and Euro spec are different. However a European dealer should be able to supply a UK spec car.

The spec will depend which order code the original supplying dealer used.

If they use the code for a uk spec car, that's what they'll get.

It's probably ok but might want to check, just to be sure.

Most eu dealers will by now have experience of uk buyers.

One dutch dealer has a seperate phone no. just for their uk customers

What year is the car and what 'model' does it purport to be? S, SE, Sport ??

It's a 2003, S model.
