Well done, really is a nice feeling new MOT. Even if mine did fail I would still have a smile on my face on the journey home,

Thank you both. I still have the smile on my face.

My car has developed the screen wash light on fault. I have read on here the possible fixes and was intending to get round to it sometime. Mentioned it to the garage who did the MOT, told them the reservoir was not empty and I would sort it. - they appear to have done it! Will contact them tomorrow to found out how. Hope they have not just pulled a fuse!

I've had the screenwash light on for a couple of years' then a month or so back, it went out, never to be seen since.

I always keep the bottle topped up, but might let it run low, just to see if it comes on.

They did not touch it. The only thing they did was to test the brakes on the move. Perhaps a very sharp brake at 20 mph might unstick the float.

I will keep it topped up, just to make sure it does not come on again.

Congratulations!

Mine recently failed!:

1 - On washer jets not working (they were frozen!!)

2- Rear middle passenger seat belt connector missing (it was tucked under the seat!)

3 - Battery not held in place properly (wasn't aware of this, just put a clamp on it)

Now passed!
