Did both our azure blue and f-sport white with AG hd wax on Saturday in direct sunlight. Thin layer and quick buff off.

Nice car, but I must say I don't like the new grille setup with the ducts in it. Are the "grilles" at either side (where the fogs used to be) just dummy pieces of plastic then?

Yes they say the LED lights are better than fog-lights and the grilles either side are venting holes for the brakes.

No, it's the F-Sport Azure Blue.  I've used Triple Wax Shake and Shine for the first polish, which, although difficult to use in that you have to keep it away from tyres, it does produce a stunning finish.  I used half a bottle - £4 a go - so I may use a different wax next time.

Sonax BSD is probably the best QD you can get at the minute.

Euro car parts sell it - £12 a bottle but wait until they have their 30% off and it works out £7-8. Only needs one squirt per panel, goes over everything and lasts 3 months

Did I mention that the beading is absolutely epic as well? No wax comes close with regard to water behaviour alone.

Dont say that too loud! Some may get annoyed!

Yes the grills where the fogs used to be are non functional as far as I am aware.

The main brake cooling ducts are on the grill itself - the big black holes! Bit of a gimmick really as the brakes don't need aggressive cooling on these.

Is Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer the same as Autoglym Super Resin Polish ?

No, 2 completely different products

The AG Super resin polish is a very slightly abrasive filler polish - it fills swirls in more than it corrects them. It also has chemical cleaners to remove dirt from the paint. Its essentially a lotion rubbed into the paint, left to haze and buffed off. It contains a polymer sealant and is technically an All in One product. However, the protection it offers is poor and it won't last long on its own so usually, a wax or sealant is applied on top of it.

The Sonax BSD is a quick detailer. It can be used on cars with light surface dust and it will clean slightly. Its main objective is to offer quick, easy protection whilst adding gloss to the paint - think of it like a sealant that you spray and buff - no waiting for it to haze as it dries transparent.
