After purchasing my brand new GS300 SE in 1998 for £33,000 and selling it in 2002 as a company car and branding it as the best car I have ever driven. After buying and driving many other cars, including my lovely Mazda MX5, which I love and will never sell. I have at long last bought my wife a 2005 GS300 SE, with only 42,000 miles on the clock and after test driving, bought back the memories!..............I love it!

So hello to all, and look forward to plenty of advice and help as a private owner.

Welcome to the forum, it's good to hear that you were so taken with your early GS that you bought another 👍

I'm working towards acquiring my first 😁

Hello Mark and welcome.

Your wife is clearly being well advised and guided, but what are you driving now as your daily drive?

My little 2011 MX5 Kendo roadster coupé. I used to be an Area Co ordinator for the North West Midlands area for the MX-5 Owners Club, but spent a lot of time doing that, so it was time for someone else to take it on.

Thanks Mark.

Mx 5 a great car, everything that the MGB should have been.

Area Co-ordinator.....an extremely significant cog that turned all of the area`s wheels.

Still it could have been worse, you could have been the Area Treasurer !!

John
