gutted someone hit my car

Someone hit my car and there are scratches on the fender. I can see the primer... 

Can it be fixed without a complete spray?

You'll need to have the affected area painted, unlikely a complete respray will be required.  Photos would be helpful.

A respray i would guess should cost no more than £100.00. There again your in London so probably more.

Won't mind to pay 200 for a perfect job but will they blend it in? I think it will cost more than 200 and that worries me. Dealers are closed today so can't get a quote.

Do not go to a dealer they do not paint cars. Look for a body shop near where you live, and yes they will blend it in.

What bad luck. I have heard good things about these guys that come to you and do the job. Have a look in the archives to see who is recommended. Blending in to any paint sprayer these days with all the computer techie stuff at their disposal is easy. Good luck with it hopefully that's all your bad luck over and done with for 2017

The body shop where I work generally charge £150 for an average size panel, and it would blend perfectly, although if your foot is really as long as it is in the photo you deserve to have it done for free!  The good thing is that it doesn't look dented which helps.

Look on line for body shops where you live. Ask people you know if they can recommend one, somebody will point you in the right direction.

That is not primer, it is clear coat that has got scratched and looks that colour, there is a chance that it could be polished out, it's difficult to recommend someone if we don't know where you are.... why is it such a big secret...???

Looking at that photo, I'd have to agree with haylands, it would be worth a shot at polishing out before going to a paint shop, it would definitely reduce it. I've managed to successfully polish similar to a good result.

My local (Derbyshire) body shop would charge £80-100 for a repair like yours.

That has just cost me £180 to have repaired. Ok, it's a smaller area than yours, but mine was also dented whereas yours isn't. Not sure why your location is a secret but I live in Preston, Lancashire and, like I say, it was £180 here.

Thats an extremely large left foot! Seriously id join detailing addicts on facebook and post that picture up. A respray will not have the same process as lexus apply and im certain , as much as you can be from a picture that a good local detailer could sort that for you retaining lexus paint.

I'd agree with trying a detailer first. It is amazing what can be achieved with a machine polisher and the right selection of polishes. Those pictures above tell you what you need to know.

Yeah I agree with Rayaans, that could be polished out. It doesnt look like its deep scratches and isnt dented, so try polishing it first using a machine.
