i think there is a way to connect your ps2 through to your broadband through your pc.

I have only read about this though... with the usb lead you might be able to connect it to your PC..

I will leave it t the gaming experts

You need one of these network adapters:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B...0077158-4493255

Once you've got one of these, it looks like you use the disk that comes with it (that you're supposed to use to configure a router) to browse to a website that then lets you browse out to other websites - you can see it all here:

http://www.brookfresh.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=375

Haven't got one of these though so can't say I've tried it myself but it's something to start with mate.

Bit more stuff here which is a bit clearer..

Basically you want to get one of those network adapters then follow the guide here:

http://uk.playstation.com/networkgaming/br...08&linktype=MPC

It shows you how to hook everything up etc, then right at the end they get you to boot off the Network disk, which is where the other guide kicks in to get you to browse to their website..

What sort of setup have you got at the moment??

Nothing at the moment. my brother-in-law told me i could just plug my broadband connection into the front of the PS2 box and away I go.. not the case I've read the first bit of info you sent me and it talks about Network Adapters There about £24.00 so I'll look at getting one of them unless there's another way

Never knew you could get these as I flogged my PS2 a while ago but they do PS2 USB network adapters:

http://www.the-console-corner.com/ps2_usb_...ork_adaptor.htm

Will try and find somewhere over here that does them..

Also, it reckons that you can use the USB Wireless Networking adapters - might have to buy myself another PS2 at this rate :)

..Edit..

Have been reading about and you are probably safer with the genuine adapter as it says not all games work with the USB devices, plus there is also the slight point that you need the genuine adapter software to be able to browse web pages which is what you wanted to do!! Ignore the USB stuff for now mate..
