Today i got a small surprise from the only dealer we have here in Slovakia. There is Bottle of Wine and Panettone cake. This is something that helps making Lexus brand premium. This is very nice and very unusual in Slovakia.

That is a very nice gesture.  Well done to Lexus Bratislava.

You bought a car from them recently?

Yes, I bought this year, back in April. Before purchase, i was there for a test drive 2 times. Both times i got postcard from them. That's very nice too.

Nice touch, and if Lexus Edgware Rd are reading this - I'll have a decent bottle of red and you can keep the cake.:whip:

Really nice gesture.   Who knows, perhaps when I go to pick up our new (used) Lexus in a few days, our local Lexus dealer might even leave a magnum of bubbly on the back seat as it's also close to my birthday!......................................................................bump back to reality....perhaps not!  (wishful thinking on my part).

Hope you enjoy the bottle and find another cake to go with it

That's brilliant Rado; ask them if they'd like to open a franchise in the UK. I'd have eaten the cake too not all that bothered about wine but cake or chocolates will always be very welcome:-)

In the early 2000s I bought a used Audi and my wife was given a large bouquet.  Spent more than twice as much at Lexus and got absolutely nothing free; not even a few litres of petrol (it was almost empty).  So don't hold your breath Paul!  And congratulations on finding the Mk3.  I also think they look better and are more practical than the Mk4; my ideal would be some of the mechanical tweaks on the Mk4 in a Mk3 shell with a centre dash with a little less style and a bit more function

I must admit lexus bristol were rather good when I took my is220d in for repairs. The froffy coffees and Danish pastries are to die for.

Have to agree with Rebecca, Lexus Bristol have always looked after both me and my car(s)

Simon in servicing and parts is the best customer service person I have ever dealt with, top notch, a real asset to Lexus Bristol. He used to work with Toyota when I had my Supra and again, brilliant.
