Speaking of advances in design and technology the picture below is part of one in Practical Classics magazine showing the interior of a 1967 Rover P5B.

With the surf board type accelerator pedal and the footrest it looks very much like the LS400 pedal design from over 20 years later.

The tnga unit is a massive change, especially how the engines are assembled,

The hybrid system on the Gen4 Prius is a big improvement on the older systems currently used in all the Lexus vehicles. The chassis is also a big improvement, which is TNGA based.

Agreed. The 4th gen Prius engine isn't TNGA based though but still is a huge improvement over the 3rd gen and will be used in the new c-hr too
