Hi when checking what the tyre pressures are for my new Michelin Cross climate tyres 235/55/R19s, it seems that there are different answers. On the Michelin website it states use only those pressures on the door pillars recommended by the vehicle manufactures not on the tyre side wall.

So here are the ratings

Lexus tyre pressures

So looking at the ECO setting 36psi seems correct?

Surely the pressures on the tyre sidewall are the maximum inflation pressure the tyre can withstand, normally during mounting on the rim, certainly not driving pressures.

Yes, looking at that image the correct ECO driving pressure would 36psi

Hi yes you are right about the sidewall inflation pressure, not thought of it as the max the tyre can withstand before

Si have just put these on and am running at 36 psi, the same as I did with the old goodyears, so far so good, I like them😜

Tyre pressures rarely change with tyre make. Pressure is determined by axle weight. It might be prudent to use the higher pressures in the recommended range with very low profile tyres, to stave off snake bite punctures.

Thank you for your comments, with my earlier post I had completed a search of the forum and found this post that confused me a little, regarding 235/55/R19 tyres.
