Hello and welcome to the LOC.

I seem to remember an article in Car Mechanics magazine a few years ago about this product, I will dig through them and try and find it and let you know what they said.

If there is no record of it being done it may be a good idea to remove and clean the EGR valve as they do apparently clog up regularly. There are some good tutorials about including I think a video version.

Like most diesel cars with DPFs fitted make sure you give it a good long high speed run at least monthly if the majority of your driving is short local runs.

Terraclean is a relatively expensive process but I know a few guys who have had their cars done and they were chuffed with it.

Whilst Terraclean will clean out the engine and the EGR valve, it won't do anything for the DPF.

Therefore, if you want to make sure its been done, best thing to do is get a DPF regen done or go for a good long drive in a relatively low gear

Welcome

15-20 minutes at 2000-2500rpm is usually enough to get the DPF nice and hot.  Should help a little if it is clogged.

The other thing is to find someone with the TechStream software and force the car into regen.

Also, as Steve says, EGR cleaning should be a regular thing.  I have done mine twice and it is relatively easy to remove once you get the hang of it.
