In Cyprus at the moment so took a look at the available Lexus cars over here for sale, all RHD here of course.

Found this 1998 model with a claimed 17,000 KMs on it, only one picture but looks nice as I doubt rust is a problem over here unless on the coast.

Ten times the price I paid for my 1999 albeit with 134,000 miles on the clock, would have been better had the euro not dropped so much to its present rate against the pound.

Most of the taxis here are stretch Mercedes with the double row back seats.

It does look a beauty that's for sure.  I wonder why only one picture?

Probably a greek thing, you have to go and see it yourself....wave your arms around....drink a strong small coffee with the owner and if you win at Backgammon you get the car for €5000.00:biggrin:

..... I prefer the leather options though .....  could never understand why, in an ordinary climate, anyone would go for cloth

You have to remember that these cars are based on the Japanese climate which in general is a lot hotter than we have in the UK.

Leather seats in Japan will certainly be hot if the car is left outside whereas cloth seats will not be to the same extent, JDM cars also have not sunroof again reducing the heat transfer to the vehicle interior.

Very nice, mine had 62,000 Kms when purchased in 2006 and cost me £3750.00 so prices are on the up for a low mileage prestine example.
