I currently have Bosch AeroTwins on mine, and to be honest, I am not that impressed with them.  Even though they are not that old, they seem to streak and not clear the screen properly.

My original OEM's were better, if I remember right.

I am a little confused though; I still have my old wiper blades, so if the Denso's are similar, isn't it cheaper to just get the inserts from the dealer for the OEM ones?

Can you get the inserts? Have seen its easy to do, but to be honest the little you save i would just change the wipers.

Ur better off getting denso complete from ecp saving u time and hassle and inserts not cheap from lexus either. You won't save a lot

I just fitted the Bosch on mine yesterday, they are definitely better that old ones (obviously because they were old), but there is a corner at the very top which they don't cover . It is not any tragedy as it is not in my field of view. They are very quiet and I like the looks, but I guess it will comes to how they wear over the time, so I probably can only post opinion around the spring time next year.

The refills for the oem blades cost about £15 a pair from Lexus (at least, that's what I paid) and easy to change. Much better than any of the one piece wipers - Lexus screens need hybrid blades.

The part numbers are 8521453080 and 8521453090. They are also specified for various models of the Toyota Land Cruiser etc so Toyota dealers will stock them as well. They are rather more expensive than quoted above if you buy them from the Toyota eBay store.

Dumb question -what's a hybrid blade? I've tried googling and didn't get any clear information.

They look almost like one piece blades but they have extra joints in the blade backing which allows the blade part to flex more and they have a separate replaceable rubber insert just like old fashioned blades. They work better on most cars than one piece blades - I have hybrids on my MX-5 as well as on the Lexus.

Thanks to this thread, I also picked up the Denso blades from ECP when they were on offer.

My existing blades weren't too bad, but fitted the new ones anyway along with an application of Rain-X. BIG Improvement.
