Tyres - noisy Michelin

Hi all

My IS250 currently has Michelin Pilots, 17inch. I'm new to car, the tyres seem quite noisy.

All I need is summer tyres and my driving is almost all motorway. Any recommendations?

I have Michelin Primacy 3 fitted, low noise rating, comfortable ride, good grip and don't break the bank

I run Goodyear Eagle 3 brilliant quiet tyres, running on 18 inch wheels.

I have nowt but praise for Goodyear Efficientgrip and Goodyear Asymetric 2's.

I did not find much to like about Bridgestone Potenzas or Turanzas.

Just my own personal findings.

I currently use Dunlop Sportmaxx RT.. at least on the paper they are one of the most quiet, as well they seems to have good lifetime. Recently checked and 5-6mm left after 14k miles. Which means 1,5mm wear. If they going to wear so little, the tires can potentially last 40k+ miles - seems unrealistic for me.. I would be more than happy with ~30k. As well I use higher pressure 38/40PSI and nitrogen.. so I don't need to worry about checking tire pressure too often. I have checked the pressure once after 6 months and pressure was dead same 38/40 as on the day of inflation.
