RX 400h rear differential noise

Hi ALL, 

I own of 2006 RX400h. Since several days i have a noise in rear differential. Noise is coming when car is in move and becoming louder at 30 mph. Sound is like rear axis is touching something during rotation, not strong but can hear it. No any issue is reported on control panel. Differential oil is on desired level. 

Can someone advise me?

Can it be related to differential lock?

Rattle,banging or other noise from rear of car when in motion,may be related to exhaust heat reflector. Mine was!!!

Check that exhaust reflector is secure and not dropping onto top of exhaust

Hi. I have issue sound like in 1st post. Not banging but like whining noise from back of car. Applying hand brake or normal brake does not making difference so only diff or wheel bearing could make the noise. Anyone else had this problem?

Same here - definitely differential bearings.  I've just had the rear discs off and the noise is only coming from the diff.

Seems to be a weak point as I've seen lots of posts about this.
