60k spark plug change

Just wondering if anyone has recent experience of how much Lexus charge for the spark plugs being changed? IS250 will be on  60k next service. I have a service plan (the schedule for older cars so 60k items not covered) so the general service is covered cost wise..

Its around the 500.00 mark dependant where you live. I had mine done on a recall, cost 160.00 .Only reason it was the fuel pressure sensor, and inlet

manifold had to come off anyway. A set of plugs is about 80.00, gaskets i bought from Usa about 21.00 delivered. I bought the gaskets as soon as i bought 

the car, to do the job myself. There is a how to on utube i believe. It takes about 2 hours. Some body on here was quoted about 600.00 recently.

Read recall questions he was quoted 645.00 with a service.

Lexus charge about £200 (inclusive) parts and labour to change the spark plugs.

that would make sense - had a look tonight on the Lexus website a full service is £445, full with 60k miles work is £645

I asked Lexus Ipswich. Charge is £645 except when done with the recall, then £580. Not exactly overwhelming generosity

So the cost to change the 6 plugs including parts and 2 hours labour is £645.00 !

Must be why I change my own on the LS.

Why dont you ring them, and explain inlet manifold has to come off to do both jobs.Thats what i did let them know you know whats involved for both jobs.

The fuel pressure sensor gasket is at the rear of the engine.
