Brake Wear Warning Light Take 2

Recommended Posts

It's happened again.  The brake wear warning light has come on the dash and I can't get it off.  A few weeks ago this happened and after getting good info from here to check the rear bulbs I had success after replacing some that were turning black but I've been through all the bulbs, changed some, swapped others around but no joy.  The sensor wires have been cut and spliced together by a previous owner. My finger ends are sore after spending all afternoon trying to sort it.  Have I missed something??.

This car has female genes!!!!      Brake fluid OK and there are 2 sensors, one on each offside wheel and both have been spliced.

I went out last night with no problems and again this morning doing about 5 miles and no warning signs bing bongs or flashing red triangle.  Fingers crossed it's only a glitch.  Thanks for your help.
