LEXUS GS f-sport 450h 2012 - Red Beeping!

Hey everyone,

not sure if this has been asked before, but I just got my car washed. And when i sat back in my car towards the right of my steering wheel (i presume its the immobiliser/security light). It's flashing red, and keeps making a beep beep sound. (Every second) Pretty loudly.

i don't see any warning signs anywhere on my dashboard, all my doors are properly closed. So no idea why it keeps bleeping. When i'm driving, It keeps flashing and making the annoying BEEP BEEP sound. The noise goes when i turn the car off, but as soon as i put it on it keeps bleeping. 

I went for a drive thinking it'll go but it hasn't. And with my key ive locked/unlocked my car many times. There isnt any issue with the lock or immobiliser.. Its just the light keeps blinking and making the noise.

That looks aftermarket to me, possibly a third-party tracker device or secondary immobiliser.

Thanks for your reply. However I just rang the tracking company and they said non of their devices make a noise/flashing light

The sunroof has been known to cause annoying bleeps if not fully closed.

Hi steve2006. I wish I had a sunroof! So don't know what it could be.

I think it's the security light? 

Turning the key on and off 5 times within 10 seconds. This may reset the system.

Just tried this, didn't work unfortunately. Kept pressing ignition on and off. And also lock and unlock on the key.

Also an update! The light can easily be pulled out, i think it does look aftermarket. Here is pic! Looks like its been drilled into and fed in.

I rang the tracker company from booklet i received with the car, they claim it's not theirs. Mystery

The LED light is not a standard feature of this car, so it has benn added, my suggestion is to find where the wire goes and discover the attached circuit.
