GS450H 2007 roof rails

Hi

i am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I have just purchased a Lexus 450H 2007 and can not for the life of me find where i can buy the roof rails or the rack feet.

Lexus are asking for silly money so i am hoping there is a cheaper option.

I have seen them but i do not have the rails for them to connect on, so i am rather looking where i can buy the rails from (UK) or the 4 feet to attach the bars to.

I called into Halfords today but they couldn't advise me on what will fit the car which was disappointing.

An Independant Garage  which specialises in Toyota or Lexus (or other make).They are often owned by Toyota or Lexus (or other) mechanics who have left the Main Dealers because they believe that they can (and do) offer better service,repairs and advice at cost effective rates, to the man in the street.

Your Google exercise should show if there is anyone near to you. Laskos.

I called Lexus today and they are wanting £300 just for the roof rails (£350 installed) which i think is an insane price.

So i am finding it very odd they are not available in the UK, can anyone shed any light on why this is and any ideas if these are just generic ones or where to get these from in the UK.

I bought a set from Lexus a few weeks ago - I think they were £167 all in after discount, including all the parts :)  They ordered them in for me.

I have some genuine Lexus roof racks for the Gs for sale. They were for my gs450h.

they been in my garage for over a year so have some marks and scratches on but perfectly good working order.

you will need four bits of 3m tape which sit under each corner, few pounds from Halfords.

will let go for £80 collected from Gloucester.

I have a set of Lexus roof bars going spare if you would like them at say half price?  You'd have to cover courier costs but they're available if I can dig them out.  Alternatively, you can collect (15 miles South of Gloucester).
