Sorry to hear about your problem. There must be information about our somewhere else on the forum. Can I ask?.. Is the air suspension a lot more comfortable than the normal? I've always wondered. Good luck with the problem.

It could be various things causing the problem, unfortunately it's unlikely any of them will cost little to fix.  I would say the first thing to have checked are the height sensors, just one failing can affect the whole car.  It's also possible that a strut has failed, again, it affects the whole system.  There are also various valves that control the system, plus the pump.  You really need to get it checked by a competent mechanic who's familiar with air suspension, and it needs to be raised on a lift.

And to answer another question, I've had three LS400's and two LS430's and I really don't think air makes any difference over springs, except for the cost of repairs!

First port of call is to disconnect the Battery for 15 minutes to clear the air suspension fault code.

This will allow the pump to work again and should level the car out when you start it after reconnecting the Battery.

If the car levels out, stop the engine and make a note of how it's sitting, it should be even all round from the top of the wheel to the wheel arch.

Wait about 10 mins and have a look again and see if any side is lower than the others and post back with what happens!

At this point, it could be quite a few things but if the pump continually runs for more than 30secs at a time, the computer disables it for protection so it doesn't burn itself out.

It could be a height sensor but also just as likely is a leaky air strut as these are a bit like rubber balloons that over time will perish and not hold air so need lots of topping up to keep a level ride height. Just like a tyre with a slow puncture.
