Temp insurance

Hi all. My insurance on the IS is ending soon and I am thinking of adding it to a multi car policy. Only problem being that the second cars insurance runs a month further. Whilst I am waiting for a month for the second car to run out, is there a recommended place to get temp insurance just for a month so that I can get both cars in sync. I will then take out a multi car policy.

You can get temp insurance up to 28 days from places like Aviva:

Or maybe you can ask the 2nd car insurance to add an additional car for the remaining month.

I don't think you need to worry about getting them in sync.

I thought you could 'start with just one car' on a multi-car policy and add the second later?

I used tempcover.com everytime want to drive other cars.  Found its cheapest for temporary cover used it few times now

I did ask if I could do one car and then the other but they said no. I may call them and ask again.

Temp insurances are amazingly expensive... I have used one for 3 days when bought the car (£142). It would be much cheaper to insure both cars on your multi car policy... losing that month remaining on other car will be a lot cheaper than temp cover.
