I've had a lot of cars. Around 100 at last count. for the first time someone comnented on my car. Last night in a petrol garage a chap asked if the ls was mine. He was sitting in a lovely 460. He told me he'd had an identical car before and how good and how much he loved it  .made me feel good about my 1500 purchase

Get nice comments about mine too.  Mostly in supermarket car parks !

There are only 800 or so IS250 convertibles in the UK and me being in West Wales makes mine an even rarer animal.

It's lovely that people notice and even lovelier that they bother to say something.  Gives me a smug grin

Probably mentioned it before but was at a Lidl just outside Confolens in France and a Scottish elderly gentleman and his wifecame across and he offered to swap me his S Type Jaguar for my Car.  He was so taken with it that I let him sit in the Drivers seat. To see his face light up was a real treat.

Interestingly, only yesterday as I came out of a shop after buying some comfort food (sweets and crisps)  a guy passing by said "what a lovely colour" followed by some other comment on how graceful it looked!
