Hi, I put brand new tyres on my is250 about 3 months ago, the front tyres are fine but the rear are almost down to the limit, the tyres were all put on at the same time and are the same make. The only difference is the size, can anyone suggest a reason for the abnormal wear please. Chris.

Hi ,seems a bit strange  is the wear uniform across the tread or inside or outside only ? if this is the case what was the wear like on the old tyres . What make tyres have you purchased  ;what pressure are you using . sorry to post questions in answer to a question but this is very relavant .The size section difference is normal on some IS 250 and should not affect the wear .

How many miles have you done and what brand are the tyres?

As above, are they worn evenly across the tread?

Also how much tread have you got left on the front? Be aware that the rears wear out quicker due to being rear wheel drive anyway!

Hi, the tread wear was all across the tyre and the pressure was 35psi, the tyres are not top of the range or anything but the difference in wear is astounding.
