Hi,

I've tried searching the forum, and several other forums, and shops but I can't find a definitive answer to what size the wiper blades are on a 1992?  Also am I reading things right that there is some kind of special clip for fitting it?

I can't just measure the old ones as the driver's side decided it fancied an extended vacation on the peage heading towards Le Mans this weekend and the car currently has a Porsche flag MacGyvered onto the arm with duct tape and good intentions, not sure measuring that will do much good...

My originals (?) which I still carry in the Car are 21inch drivers side and and  16 inch Passenger. However I have Aero blades on at the moment which are 22 inch and 16 inch end to end. Cost £6 or thereabouts on t'bay.

The Aeros for the drivers side needed a bit of tweeking to make it fit  whereas the "original" Mortocraft or Valeo  has a rocking pivot.

I think the Aero on the passenger side fitted without any fuss.

Just changed the Aeros as you reminded me that a new set have been in my boot for twelve months and MOT end of this month. For the drivers side you will have a problem with Aeros  because the Wiper is a double arm. The clip that normally hides everything has to be hacked about  bit to fit.

The one I have just fitted was not for for a Lexus I think (hadn't noticed box had been re-sellotaped)   Anyway fitted but this one had a cover which ran from end to end and so I had to cut away one side twhere the second arm attaches.

Sounds worse than it is but fiddly job.

ps Rocking pivot supplied with Aeros

Here's a photo of the OEM grade fix we implemented.  We shoved the passenger side wiper onto the driver's side to make the best of what we had.

The rainbow is just a sample of the "decoration" we did on the car while waiting for the ferry in Dover.

Do you get the same problem with poverty spec (non-aero) wiper blades?
