Cd player

I've posted on here a while ago about my faulty cd player and I've just taken the chance of buying a working one off of eBay for £33.25, postage included! Only thing is that it doesn't come with the code. I think that this could be retrieved for a fee or maybe lexus could help out? Might be I've wasted my money but I felt it's worth a shot. I will put an update on here at a later point.

I got the unit today and I tried it to see if it powers up which it does. Trouble is the radio works but the cd player doesn't. It says the same as the original unit "cd error". I took it to an audio decoder and he rang his friend who was trained on pioneer systems. He said it's a common problem on this unit. He also said there is no code to put in. I've searched in my manuals and I can't find a code for the original unit either. Can anybody else tell me different?

Theres a couple in the rear of the unit with shipment written on it, i think you gotta somehow switch back to normal and it should start to work

Oh well, looks like i've now got 2 cd players that do not work. At least I got a full refund and told I could keep the unit.
