Hi all!

New to the forum and its already been great for information! I bought my 2003 LS430 last December and been enjoying ever since! Quietest thing I've ever been in! 140,000 miles and still drives like new! I've had two IS200's before and they never disappointed! After having both a Mercedes and BMW in the past, Lexus in my opinion has to be the most well built, high grade, reliable manufacturer there is! I do although have one or two niggles which I will get sorted this summer the first being a failed parking sensor on the front and the second being the drivers door lock button (on the door handle) has stopped work but like i said only minor things. I'm averaging around 22mpg to work and back which i'm happy with considering its a silky smooth V8, if it did 10 mpg i would still say it was worth the trade off for the comfort! IMG_0701.JPG

Please dont tell everyone. The car looks fantastic.

Hi Chris and welcome to the LOC, we are a friendly bunch and some of us even know how to pull them to bits and put them back together again, with of course the one bolt and washer left over.

We recommend you spend a couple of mins looking over the rules of the LOC, we will be asking questions later.

Welcome to the LOC Chris, your car looks superb!  Last week on a trip to Gatwick mine showed an average of 33.2 on a clear run.

We averaged 36mpg on a trip to Amsterdam!!

Does that mean the route to Amsterdam is all downhill? Is that in the LS430?

Nope, just means i didn't go over 60😂😂

04 ls430 so the facelift 6speed

can do the same in my 600hl too

You certainly can't complain at that.  I guess the extra gear gives you that edge with fuel economy.  Even so, when people ask the size of the engine they always seem surprised when I tell them what it's capable of regarding fuel consumption.
