Hi. Hope you are all well. Still looking for possible LS's to buy. I've come across an '02 430 at a Croydon trader. No mention of MOT in ads on eBay or Autotrader, but more of a concern is when I check the MOT history on the Gov.UK site all I get is 'No vehicle that matched the data you entered could be found'. Does the website make errors?. Should I leave well alone?. Will try to contact the trader later to see what the situation is.

Maybe had a private plate changed, though, as you say, a call to the dealer might help.

Could it have had a recent change of registration plate? Maybe a private plate has been removed to sell the car.

It had good mot history. Got full lexus history. Didn't drive it as he offered silly money on part x. Nice car. Got a small piece of lacquer peel on boot. A touch up about 3 inches on bonnet. Needs two tyres . And the rear exhaust boxes are a bit scabby underneath.  Not blowing. Headlights are a bit foggy.Engine was very quiete. He wouldn't drop for cash either. If I'd had the cash outright I may have had it but seeing a blue one up close I changed my mind.hope this helps

Hey, Canterbury  blue, the best colour in my eyes. 😊

I thought that.  But shows every mark. Looks bigger than a light colour car

I like mine, which is blue, but it needs to be well kept, or it can look a bit dull.

A good wash and polish brings out the metallic sparkle, and makes all the difference.

That said, I like all the LS colours, and wouldn't turn any of them down, if the car was otherwise good.
