Anyone considering replacing or topping up their gearbox oil should look at this; 'MyTyres' are selling Comma ASW  (Toyota 3309 Type T-IV) on line for £10 per litre, including delivery. This is the cheapest deal I could find. Hope this helps.

Who wants to be the the first to try it?

The last time I bought genuine Toyota Type IV it was around £60.00 for 5 litres.

Wow, that is cheap. Just don't need 20 litres at a time though. I'd probably die from old age before my LS would gobble up 20 litres! lol.

I bought two 4L drums of Mannol and had the Auto box filter changed  a few months ago. Used almost one of the drums.

Drove 2,500 miles in the Car about three weeks ago and although I'm complaining about the cars general performance I wouldn't put it down to the fluid change.  I did check at an Aire after a hundred miles the dipstick to see that there were no bubbles or anything adverse. Looked fine.

On further reflection maybe owners should check the "PCV Valve" thread to understand my issues before buying.
