Hi, my Is300h has just done 10,000 miles. It is 9 months old and I am a private buyer.

Usually I get my cars services once a year and do less than 10,000 per year but recently I have been using the IS for work and so have put more miles on it than usual. Mostly on A roads not straight motorways.

The service book says 10,000 miles for private customers who do shorter trips and 12,500 for business customers who do longer trips. Do I get it done now at 10,000 or wait for 12,500? Just thinking although I have not done "business mileage" it has not been done on motorways but A roads where the brakes, engine start and stop more often and so would it be classed as more wear than if it was cruising up and down the motorway hence I should get it done now.

Thanks

And what would make me comfortable would be having it done now.  If it's on your mind I say do it.

The handbook says 10k miles for private buyers hence, do it now.

No 2 ways about it really.

you can go over by 500 miles without it compromising your warranty

its really not worth risking the warranty
